What kind of European bluegrass ignorant would you have to be not to know Lilly of the West? It is a prominent bluegrass band which you can encounter both in Czech Republic and on festivals abroad alike, or at the IBMA fest in Nashville. Personally I admire Lilly as a pioneer of bluegrass in Bulgaria. Lilly is able to organize very unusual events (as e.g. a bluegrass concerts tour organized on the grounds of US or Bulgarian embassies in Europe) and the watchful observer will notice that everything is possible, when one digs in with courage and a bit of gumption. Who amongst you would pluck enough courage to start your own bluegrass TV show, all this in a land, where bluegrass is all but unknown? 		141
